About
kloPIT is a free, open-source PIT-38 tax calculator designed to help Polish investors calculate capital gains tax from foreign brokers.
What's in the name?
The name "kloPIT" comes from the Ukrainian word "клопіт" and the Polish "kłopot" — both meaning worry, hassle, or trouble. Because filing taxes from foreign brokers is exactly that kind of headache. This tool takes the hassle out of the equation so you can focus on investing, not paperwork.

Credits & Inspiration
kloPIT was heavily inspired by Pitly — a PIT-38 calculator with a .NET backend by Volodymyr Kovtun. The sample broker activity statements bundled with this project were extracted from that repository.
